Pan America parts: match the cases to their mounts

The Pan America's Sport side cases attach to the bike's integrated mounting points; its aluminium cases need a separate carrier. That is the first choice to settle before ordering luggage. The standard RA1250 also lacks the Special's factory brush guard, so the same accessory can be an addition on one bike and a replacement on another. Start with the side cases.

Two side-case systems, one extra check

Sport Side Cases 90201973 use the integrated mounts. Aluminium cases 90202082 in clear finish or 90202088 in black require Side Case Mounting System 90202087A, bought separately. Choose the cases and aluminium-case carrier together.

The carrier's current fitment lists the standard RA1250 from 2021, but the Special only from 2024. On a 2021–2023 Special, Sport cases 90201973 have explicit fitment; the current aluminium carrier does not. Use that distinction when comparing the luggage options.

A top case needs its own mount

Both the Sport and aluminium top cases need Top Case Mounting System 53000800A. It is separate from the side-case carrier and sold separately from the box. The CVO and Limited already have this mount as standard; on those bikes, check what is still fitted before buying another. Pair a top case with its mounting system.

Seat and screen: change the right piece

Reach Solo Seat 52000471 lowers the standard Pan America's rider position by one inch and keeps the two-position adjustment. It replaces the rider section only, leaving the passenger seat separate. Compare the rider seats.

The clear 18-inch Adventure windshield, 57400454, keeps the screen's height adjustment. The ST starts with a low screen and a one-piece seat, so its original setup differs from the standard bike even where an accessory lists both. Choose by the part's model fitment in windscreens.

Brush Guard 49000192 is an addition for the standard RA1250; it is already factory equipment on the Special and CVO. Find it in vehicle protection. For a different Harley, use the all-models index.
