Street 750 accessories: check the Rod exclusions

A Street 750 and a Street Rod share the XG family name, but that does not make their accessories interchangeable. The Street 750 is XG750; the Street Rod is XG750A. The difference matters for rear guards, passenger backrests and even which side a set of front brake pads fits. This page covers the XG750 catalogue years below; use the Street Rod page for the A-suffix bike.

Choose rear protection before adding luggage

Rear Fender Guard Kit 49000131 bolts to the Street 750's fender struts and comes as a left-and-right pair. Its purpose is cosmetic protection around the rear fender, indicators and shocks. There is a fitting conflict to settle first: it cannot be used with docking kit 52300285, detachable racks 50300071 or 50300091, or throw-over saddlebags 90200906. If any of those are already on your bike, the rear fender guards are not the compatible next addition.

Muffler Slider Guard 49000067 protects a different area: it fits around the muffler's end cap. H-D excludes both the Street Rod and Nightstick muffler 64900220. Check which exhaust is fitted before choosing the muffler slider guard. For the front of the bike, gloss-black Engine Guard 49000047B includes its mounting hardware; optional highway pegs are separate.

A passenger upright needs the rack beneath it

The Street 750's chrome upright 52300283 and black upright 52300307 mount to a detachable two-up rack. The full arrangement needs rack 50300071 or 50300091, docking hardware 52300285 and backrest pad 52300281 as well as the upright. The upright's supplied fasteners do not replace those parts. We currently list the uprights, but the required rack and docking kit are absent from this catalogue and Harley's UK price file shows them discontinued: confirm those pieces are already fitted before ordering. Compare the chrome upright and black upright; neither is specified for XG750A.

More room underfoot, with a position check

Small Mini Footboards 50500139 replace the rider pegs on the Street 750's standard supports. They come as a pair with a 3-inch base and rubber tread. H-D explicitly excludes the Street Rod from this rider-position fitment, even though the product has other passenger and highway-peg applications. Read the Mini Footboard fitment for the position you are changing.

Brake pads: the listing starts at 2016

For a 2016–2020 Street 750, H-D lists front pads 41300169 and rear pads 41300161. These are separate front and rear sets, and their stated application does not cover the 2015 chip on this page. Keep the year selected when comparing the front pads and rear pads. The Street Rod uses 41300169 on the left front only; its additional front brake is another reason to keep the two bikes separate.
