Distinguish the guard, the rail and the lid trim

A rear saddlebag guard protects the leading edge of the bag. A surrounding rail attaches to a guard and follows the lower bag, while a lid rail sits on top. Choose the area you want to protect and check which supporting parts are already present.

The all-years selection includes different saddlebag generations. The finish and the shared “guard” name do not establish whether two references mount together.

Air Wing rails protect the lid surface

Air Wing lid rails 90200792/90200793 follow the top and front of the specified colour-matched hard saddlebags, helping shield the paint from a boot heel. Chrome and gloss black kits include mounting hardware; optional light kits 68286-10/68388-10 are separate. These references exclude saddlebag lid speakers and passenger armrest kit 52400073, alongside their listed model exceptions. They do not attach or protect the same area as the lower surrounding rails.
