Road Glide parts: the fairing is its own catalogue, and 2024 draws the line

788 Road Glides are taxed in the UK and 230 on SORN, the fastest-growing Harley nameplate: up 118 per cent in five years, 101 new in 2025 against the Street Glide’s 143. It is a current UK bike, £27,745 for 2026. One code, FLTRX, is listed for 2010 to 2013 and 2015 to 2026.

The year lines: no 2014, then 2017, then 2024

There was no 2014 Road Glide: 686 of the 2013 list’s 731 parts fit a 2015 bike, 277 new. The 2010 to 2013 Custom had inherited the 2009 sharknose’s list, 726 of 729. 2017, Milwaukee-Eight, drops 100 and adds 128, all engine. 2024 is the break: 725 of the 2023 list’s 985 parts fit it, 260 out and 242 in. Out go all three screens, the bag lids and all four antennas. Across come all 21 Tour-Paks, the twelve luggage racks and the Flat-Out Bar 49000242. The Road Glide Limited did not break at 2024: 980 of its 991 carried.

The fairing is its own catalogue

52 live parts fit nothing but a Road Glide, and they hang off the fairing. Nine screens: 15 in. 57400270 and 12 in. 57400271 for 2015 to 2023, 4.5 in. 57400617 and 10 in. 57400620 from 2024. None for 2010 to 2013; no mounting-kit rule on any. The colour-matched inner fairing 57000482DH and its air duct 29200102DH are a pair. Its own handlebars too: Chizeled 55800439 to 2023, Reach 55801499 and the Moto Bar 55801486 with its riser 55801485 after. And the fog-lamp mounts and fairing speakers 76000983 and 76001457.

Dependencies: one more bracket than a Street Glide

Lowers on a 2024-on bike are a three-part chain: lowers, engine guard 49000284 or 49000285, then fairing support 47201044 or 47201045, which H-D says “Road Glide and Road Glide 3 models require”. On a 2015 to 2022 bike the Flat-Out Bar 49000242 needs support 49000274, and Daymaker fog lamps 68000386 need the Road Glide mount kit 68000183 or 68000184. Any rack on a 2010 to 2023 bike needs the antenna moved: hidden 76000863 to 2013, hidden 76000862 or relocation 76000582A after; from 2024 none is listed. From 2024 the secondary amp 76001444 needs the primary 76001294.
