The 1200 Sport

The 1200 Sport is listed for 1996 to 2003, and 357 of its 358 current genuine parts are also on the plain Sportster 1200 list, so that page's brake table applies: front 44063-83D and rear 44209-87D up to 1999, 44082-00E at both ends from 2000. Every Sport year takes the '96-on lever kit 45075-07 or black 44994-07, which Harley rules out with a hydraulic clutch. Two parts differ. Harley excludes the XL1200S from saddlebag supports 90201433, the hoops that hold throw-over bags off the wheel on a 2000–2003 plain 1200. Harley names the Sport and the 1996–2003 1200 Custom, not the plain 1200, for chrome turn-signal swivel kit 68185-00, but not on bikes with turn-signal relocation kits.
