Loctite 5922 is a flexible, non-hardening gasket dressing paste supplied in a 60cc tube. It is specifically formulated to enhance the sealing performance of new or old pre-cut gaskets made from paper, cork, or felt. Once applied, it sets to a resilient rubber-like film that remains permanently pliable, allowing for easy disassembly when required. This dressing is highly resistant to gasoline, lubricants, antifreeze, and various chemicals, making it ideal for sealing primary covers, timing covers, and transmission housings on Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Operating effectively between -55°C and +200°C, it provides a reliable secondary seal that compensates for minor surface irregularities in engine and drivetrain components.
