These 422 series shocks for 1989 to 1999 Softail models offer a massive upgrade in both performance and convenience. Sold as a pair, these Standard Duty shocks feature a high-pressure gas system and allow for up to two inches of ride height adjustment. This particular set includes the Remote Adjustable Preload (RAP) system, which places a convenient adjustment knob behind the left passenger peg, making it easy to dial in your suspension without crawling under the bike. Whether you want to lower your Softail for a custom look or just want a more controlled, comfortable ride, these chrome shocks provide the adjustability and damping quality that the early Softail chassis needs.
