Upgrade to the premium performance of Screamin' Eagle Factory Race Team suspension. These 48mm Öhlins fork legs, developed in partnership between Öhlins and Harley-Davidson®, offer no-compromise front suspension performance for confidence-inspiring handling. Forks are fully adjustable for pre-load and for compression and rebound damping. The inverted fork design provides enhanced front-end rigidity with reduced steering inertia for unmatched handling and feedback to the rider. Requires separate purchase of a vehicle-specific installation kit for models not factory-equipped with an inverted front fork. Expertly tuned by Öhlins and Screamin' Eagle with the aggressive performance bagger rider in mind. Gloss black finish on fork legs. Adjust preload plus rebound/compression damping on the top caps of the fork assemblies. Micro-polished inner tubes reduce friction for smooth performance. Gold TiN (titanium nitride) coating on the fork sliders reduces friction and increases wear resistance compared to chrome plating. Forks utilise 30mm pistons and NIX technology to maintain optimal damping at higher frequency for improved control, noticed by the rider as improved tyre contact feel. Fully serviceable and rebuildable. Provides a 13% weight reduction compared to the traditional original-equipment front fork assembly.
