597520 Exhaust insulating wrap. 2" wide light brown

This 2-inch wide light brown fiberglass exhaust wrap is a practical upgrade for any custom build or performance machine. Sold in 50-foot rolls with a 1.5mm thickness, it is designed to withstand continuous heat up to 1200°F and peak temperatures of 2000°F. By insulating the headers, you keep exhaust gas temperatures high, which maintains gas velocity and improves scavenging for better thermal efficiency. Beyond the performance gains, it protects the rider from pipe burns and hides unsightly blueing on old chrome. This universal wrap, identified by part number 597520, will naturally discolour over time due to heat. Note that metal tie-wraps are required for installation and are sold separately.
