Keeping your compensator sprocket secure is vital for the longevity of your drivetrain, especially on high-performance builds. This JIMS compensator lock kit is designed for 2012 to 2013 Big Twin models using the SE 40274-08A or OEM 83935-09A compensator assemblies. It replaces the stock 37810-08A sprocket retainer and positively secures the assembly so it cannot work itself loose. This is particularly important for larger engines with heavy power pulses that can cause standard fasteners to back out. By locking the compensator in place, you also protect the alternator rotor and the charging system from damage. It is a smart upgrade for both race engines and stock bikes looking for improved reliability and peace of mind.
