This short version of the BK Stiletto rear fender is built for custom Softail projects requiring a 190mm width. Designed for use with 14-inch to 18-inch tires, it features a 39cm radius that allows for roughly 5cm to 8cm of suspension travel. The fender is robotic plasma cut from 2.0mm thick raw steel, ensuring a strong, uniform shape that is easy to weld. A critical part of the manufacturing process is the post-weld heat treatment, which removes internal stresses from the metal to prevent cracking or deformation caused by engine and road vibrations. As a raw steel component, it may require some light finish grinding before you move to the paint stage, offering a clean canvas for your custom build.
