For those who want more bite and durability from their rear brakes, these MCS sintered pads are a high-performance alternative to organic sets. ECE R 90 certified, the sintered material handles heat better and reacts faster in the rain, making them ideal for aggressive riding. These are sold as a pair and fit the rear of late 1987 to 1999 Big Twin, Twin Cam, and Sportster models, excluding Touring models. Replacing OEM 947460, they offer a significantly longer service life. However, because of the metallic content, they will wear down older rotors faster than organic pads, so they are best used on rotors certified for sintered use.
