High-performance engines can be tough on starter components, often leading to chipped or worn teeth on the ring gear. Since the factory doesn't offer the ring gear as a standalone replacement, Zodiac has stepped in with these top-grade starter ring gears. This kit allows you to save the expense of replacing the entire clutch basket by simply swapping out the gear. It comes complete with the required rivets or bolts for a secure installation. This specific version is a stock-style replacement designed for 1990–1997 Dyna, FXR, Softail, and Touring models. It is manufactured from premium materials to withstand the rigors of starting high-compression Big Twins reliably.
