These James Gaskets Steelcore coated metal gaskets offer a high-performance alternative to standard sealing options for Big Twin engines. Replacing OEM 16777-66, these gaskets are constructed from SAE 1010 mild steel to prevent the ripping or creeping often seen with paper gaskets. The steel base is bonded with an Anti-Wick silicone rubber coating on both sides, ensuring a tight seal on aluminum surfaces. They are designed to fit a wide range of models, including FX, FXR, Softail, and Touring bikes. With excellent torque retention and a release coating for easy removal, these gaskets are ideal for both stock and high-performance builds where reliability is paramount.
