These 5-speed Big Twin gears are made from high-nickel alloy, shot-peened and heat-treated for superior strength. This gear replaces OEM 35027-79B and is designed for 1995 through 2006 Dyna, FXR, Softail, and Touring models. It also fits 1994 European models with "high-contact" gears when installed as a matching set for the mainshaft and countershaft. The inclusion of machined lead-in ramps ensures quicker, more positive shifts while protecting the drive slots from premature wear.
