These heavy-duty steel drive plates from Alto are designed for 1952–1956 45ci, KH, and KR models, as well as 1957–1970 Sportsters. They are compatible with OEM, Alto, Barnett, and Zodiac friction discs, making them a versatile choice for any rebuild. These plates are specifically engineered to be thicker than standard, which helps significantly reduce warpage under high heat. This extra thickness is also perfect for building up stack height as your friction plates wear down or for setting up a high-performance drag race clutch using Barnett sintered plates. Replacing your old, thin steels with these units, which replace OEM 37992-52, is a smart move for any vintage ironhead project.
