This alternator rotor kit is a versatile replacement that fits a wide range of Harley-Davidson models. It is compatible with most stock and 32-amp charging systems, fitting FL and FX models from 1970 to 1989, FXR models from 1982 to 1994, and Touring bikes from 1980 to 1998. It also covers Softails from 1990 to 2000 and Dyna models from 1991 to 2003. Replacing OEM part 29957-81B, this rotor is essential for maintaining a healthy charging system. As a mechanic's tip, always be sure to check the clearance of your alternator wires when installing a new stator or rotor to prevent any shorts or damage.
