The ThunderMax EFI system is a game-changer for V-Rod owners looking for uncompromised performance. This self-tuning fuel management system uses a wide-band, closed-loop setup to constantly adjust air/fuel ratios based on your riding habits and ambient conditions like temperature and humidity. Whether you are running a stock setup or have added a performance exhaust and air cleaner, the AutoTune function ensures a smoother idle, crisper throttle response, and eliminates annoying exhaust popping. It is an industry-leading solution that even allows for idle speed adjustments to help the engine run cooler. Please note that installation requires an exhaust with 18mm sensor bungs, similar to those found on 2007–2009 models, or a modified stock pipe to accept the larger O2 sensors.
