For those restoring a military-spec Harley, this engine skid plate is a perfect reproduction of the genuine protection found on WLA and WLC 45CI models. It is built to the original specifications to protect the crankcases from debris and impacts, just like the wartime originals. This kit is comprehensive, coming complete with the necessary mounting bracket, which replaces OEM 2812-40M, and the required clamps corresponding to OEM 2811-40M and 2811-41M. It is designed specifically for the 45" flathead engine platform.
