For Sportster owners looking for the ultimate in sealing technology, these James Gaskets Steelcore coated metal gaskets are a significant upgrade over standard paper. Constructed from SAE 1010 mild steel, they will not crack, tear, or creep during assembly, ensuring excellent torque retention. Both sides are bonded with an anti-wick silicone rubber coating to micro-seal aluminum castings, while a release coating makes future disassembly much easier. These cylinder base gaskets feature silicone beading for a superior seal at high temperatures, making them ideal for both stock and high-performance Sportster builds. They replace OEM 17536-70 and offer extended service life.
