For 1999 through 2003 carbureted Twin Cam engines, the Twin Tec TC88 module offers a straightforward plug-in installation for Dyna, Softail, and Touring models. This module is designed to overcome the limitations of the non-adjustable factory crankshaft position sensor by providing five rotary switches to set initial timing, advance slope, and RPM limits. Whether you are running a stock engine or a highly modified performance build, these adjustments allow for optimal timing across the rev range. The unit also includes a diagnostic feature that uses the check engine LED to communicate codes, and it can be further customized with an optional PC link cable for uploading specialized advance curves.
