For riders needing more dependable starting power, these Denso OSGR style high-torque starters are a great alternative to the stock 1.2 kW motors. They are engineered for Big Twin models from 1989 to present, covering Dyna, FXR, Softail, and Touring fitments. This specific unit replaces OEM 31558-94 and is available in 1.4 kW or 1.8 kW configurations. Built with hardened intermediate gears and entirely new parts, these starters are designed for longevity. They include a lifetime warranty on the starter clutch for stock engine applications. The plain finish is paired with a chrome solenoid cover and chrome thru-bolts, offering a professional appearance while delivering the high-torque performance your Harley-Davidson requires.
