This hardtail conversion kit allows you to transform a 1958 to 1984 4-speed Big Twin swingarm frame into a classic rigid setup. It is a faithful duplicate of an original rigid rear section, featuring 7/8 inch rear axle slots. The kit is comprehensive, including the rear transmission mount, tool box bracket, fender cross brace, and seat post top yoke. It is designed to be welded onto stock FL or FX frames and comes with dowel pins for the lower frame tubes. This is a serious project for the custom builder, requiring welding of the lower tube inserts and top yoke, and may require shimming the transmission for perfect alignment.
