About

We are Chapter #9721 of the Harley Owners Group ® – the largest factory-sponsored riding club in the world! We are based in Newcastle upon Tyne, in the north-east of England. Within these pages you can find out about us, the things we get up to and, most importantly, how you can join us! Geordie Chapter has more than two hundred members including riders and pillions. There’s a great mix of young and old, lads and lasses, and bikes and trikes. There’s a range of riding experience across our group: we’re a very diverse and inclusive bunch! During the riding season, we have a great range of ride-outs led by our fantastic Road Crew. We arrange riding weekends away and some great charity rides. These include our ABC Ride, Ladies of Harley Ride and Santa Ride. Mid-summer, we head for the hills, then in December we round off the year with our fabulous Christmas Party. Outside the riding season, there’s always something going on. Our Ladies of Harley organise numerous social events for us, including ten-pin bowling and theatre trips. Our sponsoring dealer, Leeds Harley-Davidson, also join in the fun with their own packed calendar of events, including bands, food and giveaways, at their HQ in Leeds. In August, we have our Heart ‘n’ Soul rally, with around 300 hundred enthusiastic supporters making our weekend go with a bang. We have an eclectic mix of the three Bs: bikes, bands and beverages. It’s always something to look forward to. More women than ever before are enjoying the world of motorcycling. Ladies of Harley was established to help women become more active members of H.O.G. and local Chapters. Whether you ride solo or pillion, Ladies of Harley promotes female participation in the world of Harley-Davidson. Members of L.O.H. have their own meetings and organise activities that everyone can participate in.

We’ve got a really great bunch of people in the Chapter and we offer a good mix of rides, events and activities to suit everyone. As well as regular Chapter events, many of our riders arrange their own rides, offering invitations to everyone through our closed Facebook group. There’s always something going on.
