Roland Sands Design grew out of Roland Sands's AMA 250GP racing career and Performance Machine pedigree, and the products show it — forged aluminium wheels (the Diesel and Boss patterns are widely copied for a reason), contrast-cut air cleaners, leather riding kit, and seats. Based in Los Alamitos, California.

Pricing is at the top end, but the contrast-cut finish and design language genuinely set the bench mark a lot of other brands shoot at. Pair an RSD wheel with matched controls and the bike pulls together quickly.
