SuperTrapp have been doing adjustable exhausts since 1971 — the disc-based muffler system lets you add or remove individual discs to change backpressure, power character, and exhaust note without buying a new system. There aren't many other ways to fine-tune an exhaust on the bench rather than at the dyno.
