This S&S cam chest kit is designed for oil-cooled Milwaukee-Eight engines and features the 540C chain drive camshaft. The 540C profile is optimized for touring, providing a significant increase in torque throughout the lower and middle RPM ranges. The kit includes a precision-machined billet aluminum cam plate and oil pump, both finished in blue anodizing to improve oiling efficiency and engine longevity. By retaining the chain drive system, this kit offers a balance of performance and quiet operation. Sold as a kit, it includes the essential internal components required to enhance the power delivery and reliability of the Milwaukee-Eight powerplant.
