This S&S conversion kit allows you to give your 1966 to 1984 Shovelhead the classic look of a Panhead without sacrificing modern performance. Designed for stock 3-1/2 inch bore cylinders, these heads feature the iconic Panhead rocker cover aesthetic but are built on S&S Shovelhead architecture. The internal valve train is modernized to Evolution Big Twin standards, utilizing Evo hydraulic units, billet tappet guides, and Quickee pushrods with through-the-pushrod oiling. The kit comes complete with valves and .590-inch lift springs installed, along with S&S Shovel roller rocker arms. Because it uses the stock Shovelhead bolt pattern and exhaust mounting, it is a straightforward way to transform your engine's appearance. Note that an Evolution-style camshaft and an O-ring style manifold are required to complete the installation.
