For high-performance builds that demand maximum clamping force, these S&S Cycle cylinder studs are the industry standard. Engineered as extra heavy-duty Grade 8 fasteners, they are designed to fit 1936 through 1984 Big Twin, FX, and Touring models. These studs are so robust they are frequently used as base studs in Top Fuel Nitro motors, making them more than capable of handling any street or strip application. They serve as a premium replacement for OEM 16837-78 and are best used in conjunction with high-torque base nuts to ensure a leak-free seal under high compression. Sold individually, these studs provide the peace of mind that your top end is securely anchored, even under the most extreme riding conditions.
