Pour l'étanchéité d'un Big Twin, ces joints métalliques revêtus James Gaskets Steelcore sont un choix de premier ordre pour tout mécanicien. Fabriqués en acier doux SAE 1010, ces joints sont conçus pour résister aux fissures, aux déchirures ou au glissement lors de l'assemblage, garantissant une excellente rétention du couple. Les deux faces sont liées à un revêtement en caoutchouc silicone résistant à l'huile qui micro-scelle les carters en aluminium, tandis qu'un revêtement anti-adhésif facilite le démontage futur. Ces joints comportent un cordon de silicone autour de l'alésage et du périmètre pour maintenir une étanchéité parfaite même à haute température. Ils conviennent parfaitement aux motos Big Twin, Dyna, FXR, Softail et Touring, et remplacent l'OEM 18633-48 pour les applications d'origine et haute performance.
