When you are buttoning up the top end of an Evolution or Twin Cam engine, you need hardware you can trust. This S&S head bolt kit is a complete solution, replacing OEM 16478-85A. The kit includes four short and four long 12-point head bolts along with eight heavy-duty washers. While some late-model stock setups didn't use washers, S&S includes them here to provide extra strength and a more consistent torque load across the head. These bolts are suitable for a wide range of models, including Dyna, Softail, Sportster, and Touring bikes. Using high-strength 12-point hardware ensures that your cylinder heads stay clamped tight, preventing gasket failure and maintaining engine integrity.
