This Woodruff key from Samwel is a small but vital component for the ignition system on vintage Harleys. It is used to secure the circuit breaker drive gear on 1937 to 1973 45-inch Flathead models. A sheared or worn key can lead to timing issues or total ignition failure, so replacing it during a rebuild is cheap insurance. This key is a direct replacement for OEM 25860-29 and the older reference 1654-29. Precisely machined for a snug fit, it ensures that your drive gear remains perfectly indexed to the shaft, maintaining accurate timing for your side-valve engine.
