About This Product
Samwel's Nitrophyl float provides a dimensional reproduction of the original 1271-33 Linkert cork float with modern puncture-proof material. Made from closed-cell Nitrophyl foam that remains fully gasoline resistant and will not absorb fuel even if damaged. Physical properties remain stable from minus 40 to 160 degrees Celsius. The material is effectively unsinkable and outer dimensions can be modified without affecting buoyancy. Complete with installation screw. Replaces Harley-Davidson OEM parts 1271-33 cork and 1271-33A brass floats. Fits L1933–1965 all Harley-Davidson models excluding 1950–1952 61-inch OHV and 45-inch with Linkert carburetors.
