These 7/32" diameter roller balls from Samwel are the correct bearings for the clutch hub on vintage 45" sidevalve Harleys. A full assembly typically requires 36 of these rollers to ensure the clutch hub rotates smoothly and stays properly aligned within the shell. They fit 1941 to 1973 45" SV models and are a direct replacement for OEM 8856A. Replacing these rollers is a standard part of any clutch service, as pitted or worn bearings can lead to a noisy primary and poor clutch operation.
