About This Product
Samwel thrust bearing race for the transmission main drive gear. Fits 1941 to 1973 45-inch Flathead models. Run this with the 971274 thrust bearing. It provides the hardened surface the bearing rides on. Replaces OEM 37477-41 and earlier reference 2522-41. Check the gear shoulder for scoring or brinelling before you fit it. A damaged shoulder will destroy the new bearing quickly.
