This Samwel OEM style reproduction Springer fork is built for 1936 to early 1946 UL and EL models. Constructed from heavy-duty drop forged steel with the correct stock style oval rear legs, this unit features an inline rake and a 1-inch diameter fork stem. The fork and front legs arrive in plain, uncoated steel, making it the perfect choice for builders who want to apply their own custom paint or finish. The rockers feature a period-correct parkerized finish, while the springs are finished in chrome. It is a standard length fork, measuring approximately 19 inches from the bottom fork stem bearing to the center of the wheel axle. Please note that this fork comes unassembled for ease of painting and should always be used with an adequate damping system for safety.
