This K-Tech front mini drum brake kit is a masterclass in retro styling for Springer fork applications. It features a radical design that perfectly matches the Kustom Tech rear drum for a cohesive vintage look. The drum itself is cast iron, which we always prefer for its superior heat dissipation and braking efficiency compared to other materials. It comes with specialized shoe plates that act as bearing-like inserts, allowing you to fully torque the axle while still letting the drum float with the Springer’s rocking motion. This kit is equipped with 3/4 inch inside diameter bearings and is drilled for 40-spoke rims. It fits Springer forks with a 3/4 inch axle and floating shoe plates.
