This Wera Zyklop 3/8 inch drive socket bit is designed for 9.0mm metric hex fasteners. The 8740 B HF model incorporates Wera's Hex-Plus profile, which is engineered to prevent the rounding of socket heads by increasing the tool-to-bolt contact area. It also features a mechanical holding function that keeps the bolt firmly on the bit, making it much easier to start threads in tight spaces. The bit is 38.5mm long and made from high-quality chrome vanadium with a brushed chrome finish. It includes a knurled base for manual turning and a color-coded ring for quick size identification. It fits standard 9mm hex socket bolts and screws. This bit is for manual use only and should not be used with an impact wrench.
