About This Product
S&S breather reed valve assembly. Standard size. It replaces the mechanical rotary breather in V-twin crankcases. The reed reacts to pressure changes rather than being gear-driven, so scavenging improves and parasitic loss drops. It pulls a slight vacuum in the cases, which helps ring seal and reduces oil carry-over into the air cleaner. You will need to remove the old rotary valve and its drive gear before fitting this. Sold individually.
