About This Product
This Barnett idle cable is a black, extended-length version featuring an additional 12 inches over stock. It is designed for 1996 to 2022 models equipped with CV carburetors or fuel injection, excluding 2004 to 2006 Sportsters and models with cruise control or electronic throttles. The extra length makes it the perfect solution for bikes fitted with tall ape hangers or custom handlebars where standard cables won't reach. As an idle (push) cable, it works in tandem with the throttle pull cable to ensure your throttle returns safely and smoothly every time. Barnett’s high-quality construction means you won't have to worry about binding or stiffness, even with the added length and custom routing required for your build.
