This Barnett idle cable is 16 inches over stock length, designed for those running tall bars on their 1981 to 1989 Big Twin or 1981 to 1987 XL Sportster. The black finish provides a clean, professional look that integrates well with your bike's controls. As a push-style cable, it is critical for ensuring your throttle returns to the idle position correctly. Barnett is well-regarded in the Harley community for producing cables that don't bind or fray easily. In the workshop, we find these cables to be much more durable than standard replacements. This idle cable is sold individually and is a necessary upgrade when you are significantly increasing your handlebar height.
