About This Product
This Yuasa 12V lead-acid battery is designed specifically for kickstart-only models, providing 7Ah and 70 Cold Cranking Amps. It is a conventional 12N7-4A battery that fits 1970 to 1978 XL Sportsters and 1971 to 1978 FX models. With dimensions of 137mm long, 76mm wide, and 135mm high, it fits perfectly into the stock battery trays of that era. This unit replaces OEM 66006-70 and requires filling with 0.5 liters of electrolyte before installation. It is a dependable, no-nonsense battery for riders who prefer the simplicity of a kicker and need a reliable 12V system to keep the lights and ignition running smoothly on their vintage Ironhead or Shovelhead.
