This Barnett braided idle push cable is designed specifically for motorcycles equipped with Mikuni HS42 or HS45 carburetors manufactured before June 1999. It features a high-quality braided steel construction that offers both durability and a custom appearance. This cable is intended for use with 1981-1995 style throttle grips. Note that Mikuni carbs produced after June 1999 can often reuse stock Harley-Davidson Constant Vacuum cables, but for these earlier units, this Barnett cable is the correct choice for a precise fit. It provides the smooth return action necessary for safe and reliable throttle operation on your custom setup.
