About This Product
S&S generator cam cover kit for 1940 to early 1948 OHV Big Twins with OEM cases. Will not fit Side Valve models. Replaces OEM 25216-48. Sold as a kit. It is 356-T6 aluminium with a burnished finish. It is CNC-machined. It has eight ribs, a 11/16-inch ID pinion bushing, and a tapped hole for top-end oiling. The generator mount holes are 1/4 inch. Drill them to 5/16 inch for 1958-and-later generators. The larger baffle chamber improves crankcase ventilation and oil-air mist separation. Bushings are installed and reamed to factory specifications. Includes gear cover gasket and hardware.
