About This Product
This S&S generator-style cam cover kit fits 1940 to early 1948 OHV Big Twin models with OEM cases. Cast from extra-strong 356-T6 aluminium in the same burnished finish as S&S crankcases, it features CNC-precision machining for close tolerances, a 11/16-inch ID pinion bushing, eight ribs, a tapped hole for top-end oiling, and 1/4-inch generator mount holes (drill to 5/16 inch for 1958-and-later generators). The larger redesigned baffle chamber improves crankcase ventilation and oil-air mist separation, and bushings are installed and reamed to factory specifications. Includes gear cover gasket and hardware. Will not fit Side Valve models. Replaces OEM reference 25216-48.
