About This Product
This S&S Easy Start 585 gear drive camshaft set is designed for 2007 to 2017 Softail, 2006 to 2017 Dyna, and 2007 to 2016 Touring models. This version includes the camshafts with inner gears only, making it a great choice for builders who already have outer gears or are performing a specific custom installation. The 585 grind is a bolt-in for 88 to 106-inch engines with 9.7:1 to 10.5:1 compression, offering strong performance from 3500 to 6000 RPM. The Easy Start system uses a spring-loaded compression release to make starting high-performance engines effortless with a stock starter. These cams are not compatible with kickstart models and require an idle adjustment to 1000-1100 RPM. High-lift valve springs are required for the .585" lift.
