About This Product
S&S 675 Easy Start gear drive camshaft kit. This is a complete kit with inner and outer drive gears, bearings, and gaskets. It fits 1999 to 2006 Twin Cam models except the 2006 Dyna. Build it for 120-inch and larger engines running at least 11:1 compression. The power band is 4500 to 6500 RPM. Lift is .675 inch. The Easy Start mechanism drops cranking pressure so a stock battery and starter can fire the motor. These are not for kickstart models. You will need high-lift valve springs and clearancing. Set the idle at 1000 to 1100 RPM.
