106-5859 Easy Start gear drive 583 camshaft kit (IOG)

This S&S 583 Easy Start gear drive kit is engineered to deliver massive horsepower and torque starting from 3000 RPM, making it a powerhouse for engines in the 1500 to 5000 RPM range. It fits 1999 to 2006 Twin Cam models, excluding the 2006 Dyna, and is ideal for 88 to 103-inch engines with 9.7:1 to 10.5:1 compression. This complete kit includes inner and outer drive gears, bearings, and gaskets. The Easy Start system eliminates the need for compression releases or high-output starters by automatically bleeding off cylinder pressure during cranking. Note that these cams are not compatible with kickstart models and require adjustable pushrods if the cams were manufactured before 2010.
