The factory automatic primary chain tensioner is known for ratcheting too tight, which puts unnecessary stress on your bearings and sprockets. This steel Bump Stop from Evolution Industries is a clever fix for 2006–2017 Dynas and 2007–2026 Softail, Touring, and Trike models. It installs into the OEM tensioner to block the ratcheting system from over-extending. You can easily fine-tune the adjustment by grinding material away from the grooved wear marks during your regular 5,000-mile primary oil changes. It is a simple, permanent solution that does not require major modifications but significantly improves the longevity of your primary drive components.
