About This Product
Hastings 0.040 inch oversize piston ring set for 45-inch Flathead motors. Bore is 2.745 inches standard plus 0.040 inch over. These fit 1929 to 1949 models with early-style pistons and one-piece cast iron oil rings. The pack is parkerized cast gray iron. Compression rings measure 3/32 inch. The oil ring measures 1/8 inch. They will not fit 1950 to 1973 pistons with thinner rings and three-piece oil control sets. Sold as a pair.
