About This Product
James Gaskets oil pump outer plate seal with rubber OD. It fits 1977 to 1990 XL Sportster models. It replaces OEM 12036 and 12036A. The rubber outer diameter seals better in worn pump housings than the original metal body. Fit it squarely into the bore. Check the housing for scoring before assembly. A leaking seal here loses oil pressure fast.
